HOW TO EFFECTIVELY BUILD YOUR LIST QUICKLY

    I know that many articles have been written on this topic
    already, but as I was recently asked by a subscriber, "How
    do I build my list quickly?" I thought I would look at the
    more up-to-date methods of gaining new list subscribers.
   
    This article will show you ten tactics to put into action.
    Most are free and I have also included some tools and
    resources to add power to your business.
   
    1. Offer a Bonus
   
    Not just any run-of-the-mill bonus, but something of value
    that people want. You might have purchased 100% distribution
    rights to a product or you might have another business where
    you can offer a free service incentive instead of your
    subscriber paying. Even if you package some good quality
    products that relate to the topic of your ezine. Use your
    imagination to come up with a valuable draw card in return
    for the new subscription.
   
    2. Look Professional
   
    Make sure you brand your business and yourself by conveying
    a professional image. Give your web site and your email
    particular attention and ensure that your newsletter

    3. List Your Ezine
   
    Where do people go when they want to subscribe to quality

    If you offer free ads to your subscribers, here are two
    programs you should join. You will receive new subscriptions
    automatically from those that wish to bulk subscribe to

    5. Joint Venture
   
    Get out there and mingle with other publishers. They're a
    great bunch of people. :-) Join some free JV forums where
    you can find partners to run contests and co-registration
    JV's with. Like the Marketing Study Hall, Internet Marketing
    Bulletin Board, Ezine JV and the JV-Exchange.
   
    6. Write
   
    If you publish an ezine, you'll need to know how to write
    anyway, so what better way than to write articles and
    reviews of programs/services and topics of interest. That
    resource box at the bottom is very important and should be
    linked to your sales page and your opt-in page. This is a
    good place to include the signup bonus.
   
    7. Testimonials
   
    Give yourself free publicity and build your credibility by
    sending your testimonial to webmasters of products/services
    that you've used and liked. Keep it genuine and make sure
    you include a powerful signature line.
   
    8. Help Others
   
    When you help others who need it, you will find that you can
    often be rewarded by having the person link to your web site.
    If you've done someone a favour, and they ask how they can
    repay you... a simple link would suffice. ;-)
   
    9. Offer Discounts
   
    If you have a product or service to offer or even
    advertising that you can discount, approach member sites and
    offer a special discount page for the members. Site owners
    love to give their members discounts and you can gain new
    business and subscribers from this tactic.
   
    10. Be Different
   
    Make sure you advertise regularly and test your ad copy. Use
    copy that works in gaining subscribers to your list. Change
    the ad copy regularly and keep it fresh. Go out of your way
    to stand out from the crowd and be distinctive. A company
    motto is a good way to do that. Also, consider your
    classified ads as a complete eye-catching heading and word
    it that way.
   
    These are just ten ways that you can attract new subscribers
    to your list. They can also be used to attract new members
    to your web site or new customers for your product/service.
